Otoplasty
(Prominent Ear Aesthetics)

Change Your Image, Change Your Life

Large and prominent ears can cause deep anxiety and sadness in children and adults. Too large ears can disrupt the balance in the general appearance of the face. Ear deformities (disorders) can also be seen due to genetic reasons or after injuries. Otoplasty is an operation to correct large or prominent (protruding) ears.

With this operation;

  • Permanent improvement in the appearance of your ears,

  • No surgical scars are visible thanks to concealed incisions,

  • Balance in the appearance of the face,

  • Social and emotional anxiety is relieved.

Ears that are too big: These are patients whose auricle is longer than the face and other structures on the face. Ear length is measured from the top of the auricle to the end of the earlobe, and if it is long in proportion, some cartilage is removed or shaped by this surgery to make the length of the ear compatible with the face.

Prominent (protruding) ears: It occurs when the ear is pushed forward relative to the head plane as a result of the excess cartilage in the back of the ear. The head-ear angle has increased. To reduce this, some cartilage is removed from the back of the ear and the ear is brought closer to the head plane with stitches from the back. With this surgery, the appearance of the ear from the front is reduced.
